"Authentic Beggars" T-shirt

Art isn't for sale. The street won't be silenced.

"Authentic Beggars Sold for Pennies" is the verse Astredik turned into a print. Inspired by Sam The Kid's sharp critique, this t-shirt calls out what the market does to the culture: selling creative freedom for crumbs of visibility.

The illustration, two beggars with a microphone and a sign asking for coins, isn't decoration. It's a portrait of how art gets commodified in Portuguese hip-hop: trading truth for likes and authenticity for engagement.

It's not fashion. It's critique you wear.

Composition
Solid colours: 100% combed, ring-spun cotton. Heather colours: cotton and polyester blend. Fabric weight: 142 g/m². Unisex fit.

Care
Machine wash inside out at 30 °C on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.
Do not bleach.
Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
Iron inside out, never directly on the print or embroidery.
Do not dry clean.
